Description
Starwins Milk of Magnesia has quick, gentle and effective action for relieving stomach upsets. It contains magnesium hydroxide mixture. It is used for various conditions such as:
- an antacid (stomach upsets, heartburns and gas)
- laxative (treats constipation)
- morning sickness and nausea during travel
- colic
- sunburn, poison ivy, heat rash and nappy rash
Directions For Use
For children under 3 years, use as recommended by your doctor.
Shake well before use. Keep the bottle and its content from freezing. Keep the bottle well closed at all times.
Antacid: Adults: Take 1 to 2 teaspoonfuls (5mL to 10mL) three times daily (every 8 hours). Children (3 to 12 years): Give 1 teaspoonful (5mL) three times daily (every 8 hours).
Laxative: Adults: Mix 5 to 10 teaspoonfuls (25mL to 50mL) in a glass of water and drink. Children (3 to 12 years): Mix 1 to 3 teaspoonfuls (5mL to 15mL) in a glass of water and drink.
Morning Sickness and Nausea During Travel: Take 1 tablespoonful (15mL) once a day, either alone or with water. This brings quick relief.
Sunburn, poison ivy, heat rash and nappy rash: Apply a considerable amount of the liquid to the affected skin area every 3 hours. Allow the liquid to dry on the skin.
Warnings for using Starwins Milk of Magnesia
Make sure you consult your doctor before taking this product if you have kidney problems. Also consult your doctor if you are taking the following medicines: tetracycline, digoxin, dicoumarol or cimetidine. If symptoms persist after three days of continuous use, please consult your doctor or pharmacist. Just like all medicines, ensure to keep this product out of reach of children.
