Description
Gebedol Plus Capsules provide effective and rapid relief from body pain, headache and fever. They contain paracetamol 500mg, diclofenac sodium 50mg and caffeine (anhydrous) 30mg. This 3-in-1 combination is an effective, well-established analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-pyretic formulation.
Indication of Gebedol Plus Capsules:
They treat, control, prevent and improve the following symptoms and conditions:
headache, fever, migraine, neuralgia, joint pain, stiff neck, muscle pain, back pain, toothache, sore throat, ear pain and period pain.
Dosage:
Adults: Swallow one capsule two or three times a day (every 12 hours or every 8 hours) or as directed by your physician.
Warning of Gebedol Plus Capsules:
- Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of the ingredients, have history of hypersensitivity to aspirin or any other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
- Do not take this medicine if you have: aspirin-induced nasal polyps or bronchospasm, active peptic ulceration and in severe renal dysfunction.
- Because of the caffeine component, pregnant women and lactating mothers cannot take Gebedol Plus Capsules. This is because when caffeine is taken during pregnancy, it can lead to the possible increased risk of lower birth weight. It can also lead to spontaneous abortion. In lactating mothers, caffeine in breast milk may have the potential of having a stimulating effect on the breast fed infants.
- Use with caution in persons with the following conditions: liver and kidney damage, the elderly, patients requiring surgery, anaemia, bronchial asthma, stomatitis, compromised cardiac function, heart failure, pre-existing oedema and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
- In cases of side effects and/or overdose, ensure that you promptly visit the nearest hospital or clinic for assistance.
Storage Condition:
- Store medicine at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
- Protect it from light and direct sunlight.
- As always, keep all medicines out of the reach of children.
