Vacancy Accountant: Fiscal Oversight
We are looking for a competent and detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial operations, reporting, and collections across the organization. The role requires strong accounting skills, discipline, and the ability to ensure financial accuracy and cash flow control.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable, receivable, collections, and general ledger.
Ensure accurate recording of sales, timely collections, and prompt bank deposits.
Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, budgets, and cash-flow analyses.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding debts and implement effective credit control measures.
Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory filings, and regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.
Conduct financial forecasting and provide insights for decision-making.
Manage payroll processing, statutory deductions, and staff payments.
Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
At least 3 years experience in a similar role
Experience in the pharmaceutical sector is an advantage
Professional qualification (ICAG, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial controls.
High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to meet deadlines.
